About the Authors

JB started writing stories when she was seven, with the acclaimed hit (in the McDonald family), “Bucky the Bronco and His Missing Horseshoe.” Since then she’s moved onto fantasy and gay romance. She lives with an ever-changing variety of animals, and trains dogs with behavioral problems when she isn’t writing about werewolves with behavioral problems. Zach has published a variety of articles and books, mostly non-fiction until recently, and has a blog at https://writerzam.wordpress.com/. He is the keeper of very clever ferrets, and only his ability to pacify them stop them from taking over the world. With his talent for graphic design, he keeps the websites for PYRE looking gorgeous. He can also be bribed with most shiny objects.

JB and Zach have been friends since April 27, 2006, when a mutual friend introduced them because she thought, “These two writer friends of mine should meet!” They’ve collaborated on a number of projects over the years, but this one really caught fire, and before they knew it they had more than a novel’s worth of story and a lot more yet to tell.
